Kazi Rafiqul Alam has been elected Chairperson of Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE) - an institutional alliance of NGO’s implementing educational program. The election of the executive committee of Campaign for the period 2009-2011 was held in the 12th annual general meeting held at the RDEC auditorium of LGED on 11 May 2009 presided over by CAMPE council Chairperson Fazle Hasan Abed. The other office bearers elected are - Shamse Ara Hasan and Dr. Manjur Ahmed- Vice-chairpersons and Md. Azizul Haque- Treasurer. The outgoing chairperson Fazle Hasan Abed has been elected as life-long Advisor of Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE). Representatives of 160 organizations working at national and local levels were present at the annual general meeting.
