The total cost of the project is estimated to be about Tk.4,189.14 million, equivalent to US$.53.70 million (US$1=Tk.78) with a tentative breakup as follows:

Financing of the Project
DAM being a non-profit voluntary organization cannot provide necessary financing for the Hospital from its own sources.
DAM is raising fund from the general public and corporate sectors/institutions for the purpose.
The print and electronic media are extending their full support for the cause.
DAM also conducted three lotteries in 2005, 2010 and 2013 to raise fund for the Hospital.
Any amount of donation is received with thanks and gratitude.
Zakat is also accepted for treatment of poor patients.
Besides allocating some substantial grants the Government of Bangladesh has exempted donations up to Tk. 5 lacs to this Hospital from payment of income tax.
Present Status of Funds Received
There is encouraging responses from benevolent persons and corporate bodies of the country and even the house-wives and school children are coming forward to donate from their small savings for this Hospital.

Donations received in cash or as commitment from government, individuals and corporate sectors and proceeds from lottery amounted to Taka 2,120.00 million up to April 2016.

Out of this, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Social Welfare of the Government of Bangladesh has so far contributed Tk. 1077.70 million to this Hospital towards construction cost and procurement of medical equipment.
