 Mrs. Badrunnesa, a housewife of Dhanmondi and her children has donated an amount of Tk. 15 lac to Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital (AMCH) fund to sponsor a twin-bed cabin in memory of her husband, Late Alhaj Nurul Islam. Her son-in-law Dr. M. Mosihuzzaman, Ex-Chairman, BCSIR has handed over a Cheque of Tk. 5 lac as the 1st installment of the donation to Kazi Rafiqul Alam, President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission on 2 June 2010. During the presentation of Cheque, Dr. M. Eaqub, former Professor of Bangladesh Agricultural University, another son-in-law of Mrs. Badrunnesa, was also present. Welcoming the initiative of Dhaka Ahsania Mission to donate a Cancer Hospital Dr. M. Mosihuzzaman said that, in Bangladesh cancer treatment facilities are limited. Currently we have to move foreign countries for quality treatment of cancer. By establishing the cancer hospital, Modern Cancer Treatment will be available in Bangladesh. Dr. M. Mosihuzzaman requests to the people to come forward to establish the cancer hospital.
